When we take a breath, we draw air containing twenty-one percent oxygen into our lungs. It is vital that the oxygen then passes from our lungs into our bloodstream. Oxygen is needed by our organs and tissues to convert the food we eat into heat and energy for the purpose of sustaining life.
If you have ever experienced difficulty breathing, if you have asthma, emphysema, or other have lung problemsor if you have heart problems of any kind, you may have already wondered about using oxygen at home or on outdoor excursions.
